Winters left their mark across the globe, and on the other side of the world, the city of Milan was covered with a blanket of a thick layer of chilly, white fluff. The first snowfall was as surreal as the passage of time, gently descending to cloak the entire landscape overnight. The most challenging aspect of the winter season is the poignant feeling of being lovelorn, and when you're already experiencing it, the pain and burden intensify twofold. It brings out the need to share and receive warmth, in the form of love, joy and comfort which we seek in little companies around us but what about those who are forced to be lonely. Everyone desires to share the warmth, wander through the beautiful winter streets, and savour the season together. However, during this season, people keenly miss their loved ones if they are not around. One can easily grasp the depth of what Taehyung must have felt, all alone in a winter season, especially in a different city and country. He was separated from not just his family but also his sole source of warmth and love. Winters had always been his favourite, but not anymore. He felt profoundly alone, and strangely, even in the coldest season, his numb heart began to melt. Odd, isn't it? It's challenging to even explain how Taehyung would sit at his desk near the window of his room, gazing through its windows to behold the wonders of winter. While anyone could experience chills merely by observing the heavy snowfall, Taehyung sat there, warm droplets streaming down his cheeks, his hands holding a paper and a stack more such papers on his table.
