Their love for each other began to overflow, much like a stream cutting through mountains and rocks, breaking through the constraints of time. The only distinction was that, unlike a stream with its end in the sea, their love appeared boundless and endless. Endless stares that they would give each other, forgetting that their eyelids get tired too and they would need to blink sometimes. Endless kisses, as if their lips were magnets. Endless times of complimenting each other and reminding that they are special and loved. Endless giggles and smiles. Everything was endless like the loop of infinity. Jungkook had never been this motivated ever before, whenever Taehyung wouldn't be around he would just paint him, with no hesitation. Just as Jungkook had shared with Taehyung about his basement filling up with paintings and the scarcity of space, it was on the brink of becoming a reality. Fortunately, right on cue, he received a call from the exhibition & auction authority about his deal. He could only see Taehyung's pouty lips and demanding eyes when he closed his eyes to spare his mind around it and the artist couldn't deny, knowing Taehyung wouldn't like his thought of procrastinating the deal for later. Jungkook welcomed a group of men into his home, handing them the paintings he decided to display in the exhibition. They left happily, carrying a substantial collection, as Jungkook aimed to create more space in his basement for Taehyung's paintings. He generously provided them with numerous pieces from his artistic repertoire. He didn't have any expectations for them to be sold or appreciated by people. He just wanted them to be in a deserving place, at least somewhere where they don't sit to be dusted and he didn't even spare any thoughts about it because he was busy working on his creations.
The next morning he was in the art school as always, teaching his little bunnies something new but they had turned the hall into a whole new chaos. It wasn't new for him but Jungkook would sometimes be fed up. That day they had a whole new energy to provoke their teacher by asking him to recite a story which he hadn't shared with them in a while and they wanted to hear it so badly. If Jungkook wouldn't, they would simply surrender him. And could he deny so many pairs of innocent eyes. Jungkook sighed, letting his brush down when he agreed to them and all of them began to cheer up victoriously. Jungkook was sitting on his stool, plaid shirt rolled up to his sleeves and a decent pair of jeans underneath, his hair free yet half tied as he began to recite a story of a fairy of the bush. While narrating the story, Jungkook accurately portrayed the fairy with all the features that resonated with Taehyung's essence. He described the fairy as embodying the genuine beauty that his beloved possessed from the inside out. Engrossed in the tale, Jungkook inadvertently extended the story about the fairy beyond its original duration, oblivious to the fact that the children's allotted time for the day was about to conclude.
"What happened to the fairy, Jungkook-nim? Did the fairy reach her home back? Into the bush?" One of the children asked, anticipating for it to end and Jungkook came back to reality.
"Yeah, the fairy did return to the bush. Okay, kids, so the moral of the story is that no matter where you come from, what truly matters is how you treat others and the beauty of your inner soul." Jungkook concluded hastily, realising he had gone over the allotted time as he checked the clock.
"Now it's time to pack your stuff." He informed them hastily and the children started to create more chaos because it was their time to leave. The artist had to stand up from his stool, placing his stuff back in place and then his eyes fell on the familiar figure standing near the door frame, smiling widely at how kids rushed out, he was none other than Taehyung himself who then looked up to find a fond smile on the artist's face to find him there.
"Is Jeon Jungkook done for today?" He asked, waiting eagerly for his artist and Jungkook gave him a nod. Jungkook placed all the items back to their place and organised his desk before walking towards him, watching how Taehyung's fond eyes switched to the shape of a pair of crescents in happiness. Jungkook scanned the surroundings before grabbing Taehyung's hand and leading him to the small stockroom at the end of the classroom where all the necessary items were stowed away. It was empty enough for them to stand together, bodies clasped against each other in the compact space when Jungkook slightly pushed him to the wall, pressing their lips together without any warning. In the midst of the kiss, Taehyung's smile persisted, a sensation that Jungkook could feel, continuously providing reasons to escalate their connection to the next level. The brunet's new obsession was Jungkook's dark locks, something he would freely mess up while kissing the other male and Jungkook would securely hold him by his waist everytime he would kiss him, swallow every taste of ecstasy. If it wasn't for them breaking apart for the need of air, their magnetic lips would never separate away. Jungkook released the embrace, their faces still in close proximity as he gazed at the brunet in the dimly lit room, both locked in an intense and meaningful stare.
"The story…" Taehyung started, causing Jungkook to knit his eyebrows together.
"As far as I know this is not how it was." Taehyung teased and Jungkook chuckled softly.
"Were you listening to me?"
"Your voice has magic, I was pulled by it." Taehyung's words had Jungkook nuzzling their noses together with pure endearment towards the other.
"Just my voice?" He then asked and Taehyung rolled his eyes, giggling afterwards.
"I only have a break of half an hour, don't let me count the things I like in you because they won't end by the night."
"Oh really?" Jungkook playfully squeezed the sides of his waist until Taehyung giggled again.
"Ah stop." He whined and Jungkook pecked his cheeks one by one playfully.
"Would you help me paint the walls today?" He asked and Taehyung could never deny.

As the school day concluded, they walked to Jungkook's place together, sharing playful laughter and conversation, strolling along the familiar path just as they always did.
Their conversations could span any topic, and they found joy in each other's company. Whether laughing or getting lost in nature, they appreciated and discussed things with a touch of romanticism reminiscent of ancient philosophers. Slowly but surely, they were embracing the essence of 'typical artists,' and it seemed to suit them just fine. They didn't even realise how fast they reached Jungkook's place because the time they would spend together would always be less. Jungkook opened up his door and Taehyung already clung on his back, encircling his arms around his shoulders. Jungkook could only smile and shut the door afterwards, letting Taehyung be a clingy koala. The brunet then let go of him to walk into the free space of the living room where the artist would work, a place transforming into his open studio.
"Kookie…"
"Yeah?"
"I was wondering if you could teach me how to make ceramics." He requested and the artist smiled, walking towards him until he was standing behind him, back hugging the male with his arms securely around Taehyung's little waist who lost himself in admiration of his creations.
"Why not baby."
"Really?"
"Yeah but you need to know about clay and things related to it first."
"You tell me."
"Wait a second." Jungkook walked towards his store room, taking out a log of some fresh clay wrapped with some plastic.
"This is how the clay needs to be. Not too wet, not too dry before using it." Jungkook put the log on the wooden table and Taehyung poked it like an excited child.
"It must be so exciting to work with it."
"It will be too early for you to work on the wheel, why don't you simply make something out of it baby?" Taehyung agreed like an obedient student he was, taking some clay in his hands and rolling them between his palms.
"I always loved to play with clay when I was a child but mom stopped buying it for me." He shared his story and Jungkook sat on a chair next to him, pulling him next to him.
"Why?"
"Because I started eating it and one day she caught me red handed." Taehyung's confession had Jungkook laughing uncontrollably with his head falling back from the impact.
"Oh poor you. Don't worry, you can now play as much as you want."
Taehyung smiled satisfied, taking more and rolling on the table to fulfil his childhood desire.
"Should I make a cup out of it? Or a standing figure of Kim Jong Un?"
"Why Kim Jong Un?" Jungkook asked, completely clueless of his option.
"Because I know I'll make a disaster in the first attempt and wouldn't mind making him because he already is."
Taehyung's unpredictable thoughts left Jungkook in perpetual amusement, and all he could do was laugh until his jaws ached. Taehyung's newfound talent as an aspiring comedian only deepened Jungkook's admiration, making him fall even harder for everything that was undeniably impressive about him.
"You're unbelievable."
"What?" Taehyung asked innocently, and Jungkook, despite the insanely funny things he said, always lost his composure at the sight of Taehyung's oblivious expression and blank face.
"Oh lord. You're seriously unbelievable." Wiping the tears from his eyes out of pure laughter, Jungkook pulled his little source of joy closer until he smooched his cheeks repeatedly and Taehyung would giggle out of joy. Taehyung was obvious to everything he would say or do because he knew Jungkook was going through exhausting days dealing with chaotic kids, all he wanted was to see that smile he was utterly smitten with. So, Taehyung devised ways to ensure it. His sense of humour was inspired by his own brother who would endlessly say funny things to him when they would have bros time alone. Taehyung adopted the same strategy for Jungkook, always revelling in the joy of witnessing the other's genuine smile. Laughter, shared since Taehyung entered his life, became an integral part of Jungkook's daily routine. And to Jungkook, he had never laughed this much around anyone before as much as he did with him, he had never felt so homed and loved. It was as if Taehyung poured different shades of colours on his plain white life. He had transcended the whole him.
