13. Call Me That Again

It was just the beginning of their new romance. Beginning of uncountable kisses, encounters full of rapture. They lingered on the surfaces of love, prepared to drown in the different colours of each other until they would drown to the very depths, creating a connection so profound that they would not easily find a way out of the sea of their intertwined emotions. Jungkook was smitten with everything that belonged to his beloved, first being his inner beauty that had him fallen more for the exterior one. Taehyung seemed Godly selected, crafted with meticulous care and attention to perfection. Jungkook promised himself to preserve, love, cherish and care for this pinnacle of perfection.

And on his request, he started to work on the incomplete painting of him. Taehyung desired the earliest painting of himself to extend down to his chest, a request that Jungkook found challenging for some reason. Additionally, he wanted his hair depicted in various styles and his face adorned with a gem earring, as if he needed more details to enhance his already ethereal appearance. And Jungkook took note of all his demands.

It was a brand new day at Jungkook's place. The artist let himself be shirtless with his pair of ripped jeans underneath, his hair tied up to not be a distraction and his veiny arms flexing every time he would let his brush glide on the canvas, forming new strokes. Jungkook eagerly awaited Taehyung's arrival on the weekend as they couldn't walk home together from school like always. Meanwhile the artist sat in his space with his casements wide open, revealing the enchanting view of his floral garden. He simply decided to paint Taehyung's chest in a rough way. In an intimate moment, he became familiar with the curves and depths of Taehyung's collarbones, recalling the time he first glimpsed them up close by peeking into the collar of his shirt from behind.

So he worked on enhancing the realness of what he made. He would work with a lot of carefulness, the first time of him not being carefree while painting because this picture belonged to Taehyung and he couldn't risk any imperfections or it would be an offence to his perfection, to this angel on earth. He let himself indulge in it completely, working on the minute details and in the meantime the very cute brunet walked in. He was wearing a bit oversized ruffle collared shirt over his khaki pants. Looking ethereal as always with his permed caramel hair falling freely over his hazel eyes. The features of perfection brightened and the eyes of innocence changed into the shape of crescents as soon as he noticed his artist settled in front of the canvas on his stool. Jungkook was sitting with his back facing him and he couldn't notice the brunet’s presence who walked towards him leisurely, smelling like expensive lavenders and roses, changing the aroma surrounding the artist in an instant who smiled, releasing that Taehyung had just arrived. He didn't turn to look at him on purpose, he waited for Taehyung to make him notice his presence. Jungkook could feel him approaching him behind his back, causing the artist's smile to get bigger and for his heart to pace up more in desperation and that's when Taehyung decided to encircle his arms over Jungkook's shoulders, clinging on him with pepper kisses against the side of his cheek. Jungkook didn't budge but smiled widely, turning it into soft giggles.

"How's my artist?" Taehyung asked and Jungkook let his head turn in his direction.

"Now I'm suddenly very fine." He whispered, poking Taehyung's nose to mess it up with the colour of his hand and the brunet flinched cutely after being teased.

"No…!" He whined cutely, wiping it away and Jungkook chuckled softly, leaning to press his lips on top of his head as an apology. Jungkook put his palette aside to curl his clean free arm around the very small waist, kissing him a little more down on his face to reach his lips, starting by kissing the corner of it and then framing his lips right on top of his, capturing them with his own for a supple kiss which Taehyung accepted proudly. The artist then separated away to let his gaze fall on the masterpiece of nature in front of his eyes, eyes registering every detail of him and Taehyung smiled while blushing adorably.

"Working on my order?" Taehyung asked proudly, curling his arms around the artist's neck over his shoulders, and the artist nodded in response, eyes gazing at him as if he was completely whipped. Taehyung turned to check the canvas and he wouldn't lie that it screamed perfection, a wave of satisfaction spreading across his chest.

"Kookie?" As subtle as it was, the new nickname that recently fell off Taehyung's lips had a huge impact on Jungkook who's heart paced up, eyes getting softer and smile dropping in a mesmerising way.

"It's just perfect, you know but can you make me wear a necklace and a tiara of flowers? Like that Goddess picture you once drew. Please?" Taehyung's request slipped from his mouth in an endearing manner, and Jungkook found himself unable to deny it, captivated by the charm of the moment.

"Call me that again."

Though the brunet wanted him to work on his request, Jungkook was still stuck on the new name he was given out of the blue.

"What?" Taehyung asked, pretending to be oblivious. Jungkook squeezed his hand on the sides of his waist to tickle him and Taehyung burst into giggles.

"Kookie!" He yelled out again and Jungkook smiled with satisfaction.

"Say that again."

"Kookie, Kookie, Kookie."

Jungkook kept on requesting and Taehyung too kept repeating as much as he could, letting Jungkook kiss his rising bread cheeks one by one.

"Now fulfil my demand." Taehyung slightly pushed him away to look at his canvas instead.

"Hmm… I couldn't complete the chest. But what kind of flowers do you want on you, baby?" Jungkook asked his new beloved and he wasn't subtle with the nickname either, bringing a thunderstorm in Taehyung's heart who averted his gaze from the frame to look at the artist, blushing madly.

"Tell me, baby." Jungkook insisted again and Taehyung just stared at him blankly, rolling his eyes innocently to think.

"What flowers do you think should adorn me, Mr. Artist?" Taehyung asked and Jungkook spared his attention to his garden.

"I have lots."

"Then you choose."

"Okay then let me really adorn you." Saying this the artist stood up from his stool and dragged Taehyung to his garden along with him. He decided to stop amid flowers, then sat down in the grass. Jungkook, after a brief survey, plucked various varieties of flowers and buds, and with Taehyung's assistance in choosing, they gathered a sufficient amount for their purpose. Taking some fragile stems and tying them together in a circular manner, Jungkook mimicked it with a necklace to let it be around Taehyung's neck and he designed another one to form it into his tiara.

Meanwhile Taehyung simply just sat on the padded grass, legs folded as he plucked a daisy to place it over his ear while just permitting Jungkook to do whatever he felt like doing. He let his gaze trail all over the free lounge of the artist's skin, the bare golden surface to the inked designs on his arm and the face so captivating. Taehyung would always pause at his face, noting the sharp and manly contour of his jaws from the side view. The eyes and the bridge of his round adorable nose emanated perfection, blossoming more in his youth. He couldn't help but touch the tingling metal pieces through Jungkook's ear in awe which the elder did so as per his request, adorning his earlobes with small hoops and some little ones in the cartilage of his ear.

Jungkook finally turned his attention to the curious little brunet, showing him his result with satisfaction. The elder proudly placed the tiara on his head, wanting to fit the necklace around his neck, but Taehyung put his hand on Jungkook's, resisting him to do so.

"You said the chest is incomplete." Taehyung whispered and Jungkook let his hands down, processing his words.

"Don't you wanna complete it?" The brunet asked, bringing his slender fingers up to his own collars, unbuttoning his collar buttons.

And Jungkook didn't need more words to be exchanged between the two.

They soon found themselves back in the living room, where Taehyung sat on the table, his shirt falling off his shoulders. A flower necklace adorned his neck, a tiara rested on his crown-like hair, and his beautiful hazel eyes fixed on the artist at his work. Only his upper shoulders were revealed, as his chest remained covered with his hands holding onto the shirt, preventing it from sliding down further. The necklace concealed his collarbones and the lower neck. His shoulders boldly bare for Jungkook to copy down. It was just a mere reveal of some skin yet Jungkook was burning with temptation. He resisted the urge to rush, no, he didn't want to. The taste of temptation lingered, sweet and enticing, making him savour the anticipation of what was to come even more than he had imagined.

Taste of his lips on his honey skin. Jungkook tried to distract himself from witnessing a beautiful tragedy happening on his table, destroying his every string of patience with time, killing his inhibitions. But the artist had to stay strong. He had to stay strong till he would complete the brunet's much requested painting, working on his desire in a relishing way. Taehyung observed the inner conflict within Jungkook as he worked on the drawing. It was evident – a struggle between the allure of temptation and the commitment he made to complete the artwork. Like a pendulum, Jungkook swung between these conflicting forces, and Taehyung keenly perceived the battle within the artist. And the brunet realised the very moment. He was the one.

"Done." The artist finally announced in a while, sighing exhaustively after wiping his forehead with the back of his hand. Taehyung didn't make a move still, he just pulled on his shirt on his shoulders, taking off the tiara and necklace. Buttoning up his shirt, Taehyung felt the intensity of Jungkook's gaze on him. Stepping off the table, he continued buttoning and fixing his shirt, maintaining eye contact with Jungkook. Walking leisurely toward him, they closed the distance until they were mere inches apart. Taehyung smiled shortly at him, tempting him by licking his lips until he averted his gaze to the canvas and his mouth fell open in awe, like Jungkook's was to see him. The painting precisely resembled him and captured every essence of his being. Describing how Jungkook brought the artwork to life. It simply embodied the essence of Taehyung in an indescribable way.

"This is so... so beautiful." Taehyung whispered in a mesmerising way, eyes admiring the final result displayed in front of his eyes.

"Not as much as you." Jungkook whispered from the back and Taehyung turned his attention to him, gaze soft in admiration and disbelief at the same time. How could Jungkook make him this beautiful?

"As I told you… your eyes make me this beautiful." The brunet then pointed at the painting, looking just as ethereal and heavenly. Jungkook decided to then stand behind the brunet who was just admiring himself depicted on the canvas.

"If you think this is how beautiful you look to my eyes then that's not even one percent of it." The artist whispered, tenderly pecking the lining of his ear and Taehyung closed his eyes at the touch, almost causing him to melt into a puddle. Damn. Jungkook had him spellbound, completely under his control. Only if the artist could know how much of an impact he already had on him, he would hold him down, show him a galaxy in a tight stuffed room but he chose the time to pass on with its pace. He was impatient yet patient for Taehyung. Smitten by him completely, fallen already and drowned deeply in his new colours.
