The artist's fortune took a positive turn in the coming days, with Taehyung constantly attending school, increasing the chances of their daily encounters. The young brunet would walk past him but never forgot to bow and greet the artist he wholeheartedly started admiring and Jungkook's day would brighten up with this. The artist wouldn't have to peer from corners to catch glimpses of the young guy any longer. He would always get engrossed in painting the walls after teaching the kids and Taehyung would witness it all happening with his eyes in awe.
It was another usual day, as the break time unfolded for the adult students, the artist found himself painting amid another typical afternoon. Having already completed a significant portion of one of the walls, he stood a little far away, thoroughly examining each detail. Some aspects awaited his artistic touch before calling the work final. Lost in contemplation, he scrutinised his creations, poised to enhance them with additional details.
"I think it's perfect." And soon the artist was distracted by the familiar voice, causing him to turn his head in the direction of the brunet. Jungkook's lips naturally tucked up in the form of a huge smile to find him, eyes getting crinkled with pure joy.
"Is it?" The artist questioned and Taehyung nodded rapidly, enhancing his young innocence and adorableness even more.
"More than perfect I guess." He said without hesitation and Jungkook chuckled, looking down at the ground then looking up at him again, unable to hide the glow of joy on his face.
"Okay then, if you say so." Jungkook put his palette and brush down with satisfaction, if Taehyung said it's perfect then it is.
"By the way, Jungkook-nim, I wanted your little help." Taehyung requested and Jungkook's gaze softened to see.
"Sure, go on." Jungkook encouraged him, confident enough to help him and Taehyung grinned before tugging Jungkook's arm and dragging him towards his class hall. Jungkook was amazed, he definitely wasn't prepared for this. His eyes fixed down at Taehyung's hand on his arm, holding him firmly, right below the heavy bulk of the biceps muscles as he dragged him away. He couldn't care less but smile happily.
"Here, I don't know what to do with it anymore." Taehyung let out a sigh, showing his canvas set on the wooden frame where he would usually sit during his class.
"What were you working on?" Jungkook asked, examining his art.
"Kang-nim told us to make a flower garden with whatever colour we can use. He just wanted to see our capabilities of contrasting colours but mine seems like a mess." He shared his issue with the artist who chuckled softly, carrying Taehyung's brush from the table.
"Your choice of colours is marvellous Taehyung, so are your paintings so don't worry. But I must suggest that whenever you use bright colours for the images like your flowers here, use the background dark so that they can contrast and your art stands out perfectly. Background always has to be dark for lighter images and light for dark ones, you know what I'm saying." Jungkook explained and Taehyung blinked innocently, then nodded his head while grasping the information. The artist never ceased to blow his mind away.
"Here, let me show you." Jungkook explained by drawing a new flower of dark shade on the light sky blue background.
"See, doesn't this magenta shade flower look good against this bright sky?" Jungkook asked and Taehyung could really see the difference.
"And I was painting lavender against the blue sky?" Taehyung asked with a gentle frown of self disappointment on his face as the realisation of his previous mistakes struck him.
"Aww, don't worry, art is where you have no room for mistakes. They can always be transformed, see." Jungkook then drew more petals above his lavender flowers and transformed them into magenta and azalea shade, brightening it more and more. Taehyung's face brightened up like his painting, frown disappearing and mouth agape in joy when he saw the modification of his boring flowers.
"Try it." Jungkook handed him his brush then and Taehyung attempted to paint it, not able to copy Jungkook with the same intensity but he somehow managed to match his similarities.
"I want to know how you draw so effortlessly, my hands shake."
"It's because you let them shake, just hold the brush and let it be, go with the flow." Jungkook encouraged him.
"But seriously it is so hard, I can't."
"Ah.. it's not that hard, don't worry. Don't be scared of mistakes." Jungkook encouraged him to draw but Taehyung's hands were really shaky.
"Hold it firmly and do it." Jungkook commanded but Taehyung gave up, sighing.
"I can't."
Jungkook chuckled at his adorableness, the unintended slight pout and puffy cheeks of defeat too cute to not look at. All of those subtle things about him were gradually being everything to the artist.
"Let me show you." Jungkook then stood behind him with a mere distance, trying not to invade his personal space. Taehyung tilted and turned his head around in confusion, wondering what the artist was going to do until Jungkook held his hand, keeping it still on the canvas.
"Your focus should be where the brush needs to be pressed and easily go with the flow." Jungkook demonstrated very well and Taehyung could feel the lightness in his hand and movements. Plus the softness of the way Jungkook touched his hand not so firmly, the guy was just flustered.
"Okay." He whispered shyly and Jungkook let go of his hand early, not wanting to make the younger guy uncomfortable and standing on the side while anticipatedly waiting for him to do so and Taehyung finally did it.
"See, you did it." Jungkook remarked with joy and Taehyung's face lightened up with a huge smile.
"Wow.. I really did it?!" Taehyung exclaimed cheerfully, causing Jungkook's heart to flutter after seeing his face this way. He admired him for a good while whereas Taehyung continued to draw more flowers and he was really enjoying working on his painting after it and Jungkook was feeling highly content.
"And this is how you paint. Hopefully I could help you." Jungkook spoke up after a while and Taehyung turned his head to look at his face over his shoulder. Once more, the artist's eyes only saw Taehyung's side profile as the epitome of envy, featuring a flawlessly sharp jaw, distinct features, luminous big hazel eyes, and naturally long lashes. His perfectly curved lips were a work of art, so effortlessly refined that even the most discerning females couldn't help but admire his innate grace and attractiveness.
"You really helped me a lot. I can't tell you how helpful it was for me. I will always take care of the advice you gave me today. Thank you so much Jungkook-nim from the bottom of my heart." Taehyung then thanked him in a serious tone before bowing respectfully and Jungkook panicked a little, shaking his hands and head in denial.
"Oh no no, it was just- ah It's okay."
"No to me it was a huge thing, learning from someone like you." Taehyung appreciated him again and Jungkook's face turned red as tomato, blood rushing up to his ears too with all that embarrassment. He's just not used to being praised.
"Ah it's okay. I'm n-not that g-good." Jungkook stuttered.
"Good is an underestimated word for you Mr. Artist." Taehyung chuckled to see him panicking that way.
"You compliment me a little too much, I'm not used to it." Jungkook let the other know shyly, scratching his neck while looking down.
"Then you should be habitual of taking compliments from now on." And the way Taehyung said Jungkook looked up at him surprised, the boy had a grin on his face while saying so. And fuck those hazel eyes looking at him through his shoulder, Jungkook couldn't hold himself back anymore. He was smitten by them, smitten by his actions, gestures, smile and those hazel eyes and the urge to portray him in his painting was overflowing. The captivating art before him stirred such profound inspiration in the artist that he felt compelled to let his heart wander freely, expressing the depths of his emotions through his creative endeavours and giving lives to his paintings.

The art encompasses vast diversity, offering boundless possibilities for envisioning various colours and forms. And for then, the artist had only one picture of a particular pretty face stuck in his mind that he tried to picture down on a canvas in the night time. It was dark and quiet, his house had just him and his creations including paintings, sculptures and ceramics occupying space in his living room, there was nothing about art that he didn't know.
The floor of his spacious living room was smeared and stained with colours as he sat down under artificial lights and the open casement attached to his living room was revealing the full moon of the night. The drapes of the casement were slapping together by the wind and so did some strands of hair falling on his face. The hair shouldn't be a distraction so he had half of them tied in a bun, something he would always do while painting. Body half naked, just a pair of ripped jeans underneath which were also messed up with colours like his bare torso. His lips held a brush still as he concentrated on what he just created below him, a round face with fragile skin, dishevelled brown hair through which were peeking his round doe hazel eyes, the same eyes Jungkook grew fond of. But there was a problem in completing the painting, he couldn't form his body, half of the canvas was still empty. Only the face with faded lines below were drawn and Jungkook decided to stop himself from doing anything further with the painting. He couldn't just paint his body down without his consent. As everyone he too has his boundaries that the artist needs to make sure of. Sighing and taking his brush from between his lips, he put it aside, holding the painting and making it stand on the side with the moonlight directly falling on his creation.
"How can someone be this beautiful?" He whispered to himself, chuckling sarcastically at his smitten heart. It's just been a few days of him seeing the other male and he was already this much crazy. Why? He doesn't know. He never felt this way for anyone. It's not always about the good looks, it's about everything and anything that has the tendency to capture our heart and keep it still in a place, leave it to wonder how we got here in the first place? All these feelings we have know no limits, no boundaries and no rights and wrongs. Falling for a guy who is roughly five years younger sounds crazy, a bit too crazy because he never imagined to find himself in a place to feel all of those feelings for a guy who is just an epitome of greatness and beauty. How did he get himself in that situation? How did the writer end up drawing a human so alluring on his canvas that he relentlessly worked in defining the features? How did he find himself getting obsessed over a guy he shouldn't be thinking of? And why would he want to draw him every time he sees him. He doesn't know and like that time, he just wanted to portray the scenes of his mind on that canvas below.
And like the other days he didn't put the painting in his storehouse or the basement but took it into his room, placing it down against the wall, the hazel eyes drawn on it always on him through every angle of the room. Smiling and squatting down near his painting, Jungkook appreciated his art for a good while.
"Let's see if I can ever complete you." He talked to the painting, sighing dreamily at the face. Least to his knowledge, this painting would be completed in a way he had never imagined about.

The next morning was a sign for the pretty brunet to leave his comfy bed and get up. The sheets were too warm to leave but he had no choice but to sit up. The poor sleepy eyes of him itched slightly with his mind in a debate to lay down again. The guy then felt morning rays coming through his window, causing him to flicker his eyes open. He looked up at the watch, lips pouty and eyelids lazily heavy, rubbing them with his fists he yawned and left his room to begin his day by washing up and grooming himself in his signature vintage artistic style and that day he pulled up a french beret to enhance his artistic side more. After being dressed up, he turned around himself in the mirror to check his view properly. No doubt, he felt great everyday.
Smiling delightfully, he rushed downstairs to join his family.
In the classic-styled majestic villa of the Kim family, there was a chandelier adorning the spacious hall, casting a radiant glow over the long wooden dining table. As one of the wealthiest families in the city, renowned for their leading architectural business, the Kim family embodied a life of glory and gleam. This opulence effortlessly manifested in every aspect of their lives, evident in Taehyung's attire and demeanour. He carried himself as if he was a real-life prince navigating the realms of a seemingly ordinary world. The walls of the villa were no less than any wonder, the grand family picture framed in golden frame was proudly hanging on the wall of the living room above the fireplace, consisting of his parents with their two sons, the Kim heirs, Kim Jin and Kim Taehyung proudly posing in it. Kim Jin was also five years older than Taewon, his leading inspiration and favourite person in the family in the form of an older brother who would swear to protect his younger brother for the rest of his life.
The family was on the dining table, waiting for each other to join for breakfast and for then only Taehyung was left to be joined who quickly rushed towards the table to join them, not letting them wait any longer and his family caught the youngest of the family there.
"Here comes my sunshine." Mr. Kim said proudly, welcoming his younger son, Taehyung, to the table.
"Good morning, Appa." He greeted before taking his chair, the family's face brightened with the youngest's presence.
"Seems like you're really converting into your idol Vincent Van Gogh." His elder brother complimented him on his outfit of the day, causing the younger one to smile timidly.
"Thanks, hyung."
The servants of the villa walked in with the food, carefully serving it to all while the parents were having a general discussion and the brothers talked about anything and everything until Mrs. Kim decided to speak up while having her meal.
"How's your art school going?" Mrs. Kim questioned and Taehyung's face brightened up with joy, he let his cutlery down to speak and they could see he had a lot to rant about.
And as being said the new artist began to rant about his art school and they all listened to him carefully with full concentration, admiring how happy he seemed while sharing every minute details about his experience, definitely not missing out on this great artist.
"So it really is going well." Mr. Kim remarked joyfully.
"Hyung, appa, eomma?" He then called their names all together causing them to turn their heads to him in unison.
"Will it be okay if I take extra classes after school? As I told you about this amazing artist, I am really fond of his style but unfortunately he doesn't teach me."
"Isn't school going well?" Mrs. Kim asked with concern and Taehyung shook his head in denial.
"No I mean it's good but I am talking about extra classes you know. The artist I mentioned, he teaches kids there, not adults… but he really has keen knowledge about art and he has taught me a lot through mere advices and I seriously want to learn more from him. His style is so catchy and admirable. I wanna be like him."
"But who is he?" His brother asked, paying his full attention to the demands of his brother.
"Jeon Jungkook." Taehyung replied and his brother nodded in reply, still wondering if he knew someone with this name.
"Is he really that good?"
"Very much!" And Taehyung exclaimed with shining eyes.
"Then there's no problem." And Mr. Kim agreed, which means it is done.
Taehyung's wish was granted without much effort and he couldn't be happier, that huge smile on his face could confirm. He was constantly thanking his father who was there to make all of his wishes come true.

The artist woke up the same morning with constant flashbacks of the guy in his dreams and then he was watching him with his eyes open too, the painting against the wall was seeming like staring back at him. Jungkook smiled before getting up and leaving his bed to walk closer to the painting which was completely dry, touching it softly with his fingertips he smiled satisfied.
"Can't wait to see you." He spoke to the picture before standing up and leaving to start his day.
Just when he came out of his shower, he pulled on his ripped jeans and white tank top, shaking his dishevelled long wet hair with his hand. He checked himself in the mirror with a bunch of shirts in his hand which he was deciding to wear but then he heard his doorbell ringing. He threw the shirts on his bed and then decided to rush downstairs to walk towards his door, vigorously shaking his hair to quickly dry them as he opened the door. And for a moment he was taken aback when he opened up the door. Freezing in his actions as he blinked twice to register what he actually saw. He didn't expect to see what he saw and not the way he wanted to. The poor brunet flinched cutely as the droplets of water coming from Jungkook's hair which he was shaking just fell on his face, panicking the artist, not just because of the way he made him flinch but…
What was he doing there this morning?
